Old New York album release day 24th May

The indie rock awesomeness that is Old New York releases their third album 'Before We Hit The Ground' on Tuesday 24th May. This album encapsulates everything brilliant and sick that these four guys demonstrate. From song to song their unique take on 80s/90s indie influences is pushed to fore with angular guitars that move in and out of thumping rhythms and 60s vocal harmonies. Even though the band on first listen to this album may not have altered their core sound, what they have done is look at new directions and moments by extrapolating darker colors and tones out of their instruments. What you are left with is a wave of ear candy for the soul where sonic shifts wash over the ear carried along with the 4 part harmonies of all members. What an album, what an album.
